This notice provides information under Türkiye’s Law No. 6698 only for visits to trimcode.app and communications about the website. Dropvia app data is covered separately.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Emre Çakıroğlu, an individual developer. TrimCode is a brand name and does not replace the controller’s legal identity. Service address: Mecidiyeköy Mah., Esentepe Cad., Hafız Ata Çık. Sok., Nuri Bey Apt. No:10 D:20, 34387 Şişli / Istanbul, Türkiye.
2. Data categories and purposes
Security records such as IP address, time, requested URL, HTTP response, referrer, browser/device, and error information are processed to provide the website, keep it secure and available, troubleshoot errors, and prevent abuse. Identity, contact, and request information you send by email is processed to answer your question, provide support, and manage legal requests. Your TR/EN preference is stored only in your browser to remember the language.
3. Collection method and legal grounds
Data is collected electronically, automatically during a website request, through your browser preference, or directly through your email message. Under Article 5(2) of the KVKK, processing relies as applicable on formation or performance of a contract, the controller’s legal obligation, establishment/exercise/defense of rights, and legitimate interests that do not prejudice fundamental rights. Separate consent will be obtained if a new technology legally requiring consent is introduced.
4. Recipients and international transfers
Data may be transferred, only as necessary for the stated purpose, to İBT İstanbul Bilgi Teknolojileri Tic. Ltd. Şti., which operates the main server in Türkiye’s Black Sea region and backup infrastructure in Istanbul; to Google, which provides Gmail, if you send an email; and to legally competent public authorities. Transfers requiring processing outside Türkiye follow a valid mechanism under Article 9 of the KVKK and applicable law, and only necessary data is shared.
5. Retention periods
Standard website and security logs are retained for no more than 30 days. Deleted data in daily incremental and weekly full backups is restricted from ordinary use and is removed when the provider’s verified rotation/destruction cycle completes; the exact maximum has not yet been confirmed in writing by the provider. The browser language preference remains until you remove it. Email and request records are retained only as long as necessary to resolve the request, meet legal duties, observe applicable limitation periods, and protect rights; they are then deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
6. Your rights under Article 11
You may ask whether your personal data is processed; request information if it is; learn the purpose and whether data is used accordingly; learn the recipients; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, deletion/destruction where the conditions are met, and notification of those actions to recipients; object to a result produced solely through automated analysis; and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
7. How to apply
You may submit a request from an email address you previously provided and that is present in our records to support@dropvia.app or by signed letter to the postal address above. A formal request must include name and surname; a signature for a written request; Turkish identity number for Turkish citizens, or nationality and passport/foreign identity number for non-citizens; service address; available notification email, phone, or fax; and the subject of the request. An authorized representative must include proof of authority. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, or unnecessary sensitive documents.
Requests are concluded as soon as possible according to their nature and within 30 days at the latest. Requests are generally free of charge; a tariff permitted by law may apply if a cost arises. If you consider the response insufficient, you retain the right to complain to the Turkish Data Protection Authority within the statutory time limits.
